Transfusion Follow-up and Feedback System (SafeTX)

Transfusion follow-up and feedback system is a new method for preventing untoward transfusion reactions. The system is designed to facilitate the transfusion process and minimize the risks of transfusion errors before and during the transfusion process. It especially focuses on preventing the transfusion of blood and blood products to the wrong patient. The system also monitors the blood-request process. It is the first software designed for this purpose. The program meets the AABB standards and directs the user to improving the transfusion process.
